The Overland Transmission Project is a major investment to Wyoming and Idaho’s transmission infrastructure to provide a pathway for renewable energy resources and support major economic, job and energy growth across the region.
The Overland Transmission Project is a high voltage, direct current electric transmission line that will extend from southeastern Wyoming, across southern Wyoming and Idaho, to Midpoint substation near Jerome, Idaho. Its primary purpose is to deliver renewable energy from the wind-rich areas of Wyoming to Midpoint - a major hub to deliver energy to Idaho and markets throughout the West.
Jade Energy is committed to an open and inclusive public process to help identify alternative transmission routes. We believe all stakeholders should be treated with openness, communication and respect.
